Texas Community Asset Recovery Foundation is a legally formed nonprofit organization with an IRS-issued EIN. The organization’s application for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is currently pending.

Upon approval, the organization expects recognition to apply retroactively to its date of formation in accordance with IRS regulations.

The organization maintains formal governance, financial controls, and compliance policies consistent with nonprofit best practices.

DONATIONS UNDER $250

For donations under $250, donors may rely on:

  • Credit card records
  • Cancelled checks

A formal IRS acknowledgment is not required, but a courtesy receipt may be provided.

DONATIONS OF $250 OR MORE

For donations of $250 or more, Texas Community Asset Recovery Foundation will provide a written donation acknowledgment consistent with IRS requirements.
